The XFS-B 3-1 is a passive near-field probe that detects magnetic field lines emitted at 90° from the measured object. Field lines entering the probe from the side are not detected. Compared to the XFS-R 3-1 near-field probe, its coil is placed at the probe tip at a 90° angle. The scanning probe can be connected to the 50Ω input of a spectrum analyzer or oscilloscope . There is a 50Ω terminal impedance inside the probe.
