Discontinuous disturbances
1. Introduction to the test
Household appliances, power tools, regulators using semiconductor devices, electric medical equipment, diagnostic X-ray generators, electric toys, automatic dispensing machines, movie and phantom projectors, etc., equipment with timing or program control, will be turned off at the moment of switching. Intermittent interference that is much larger than the normal working state is generated. According to the requirements of standards such as CISPR 14-1 and CISPR 11, it is necessary to measure intermittent interference (also known as clicking sound). Click refers to a kind of interference that exceeds the allowable value of continuous interference for a duration of no more than 200ms, and the latter interference is at least 200ms away from the previous interference. The two intervals are related to the level of the continuous interference allowable value. A click may contain several pulses.
The frequency of clicks is represented by the click rate N (the number of clicks within 1 minute), which determines the degree of harm of the clicks. The larger N is, the closer it is to continuous disturbance, and its amplitude limit value Lg should be equal to the limit value L of continuous disturbance. The smaller N is, the smaller the degree of harm is, and its amplitude limit Lg should be relaxed, and the degree of relaxation is determined by the following formula:
Whether the clicking noise disturbance generated by the EUT is qualified should be determined according to the "upper quartile method", that is, if more than 1/4 of the clicking sound recorded during the observation time exceeds the click sound limit value L g , then Judging that the product is unqualified.
