Common mode disturbances in the frequency range 0 Hz to 150 kHz Immunity
1. Overview
IEC 61000-4-16/ GB/T 17626.16 specifies the test requirements and methods for common mode disturbance immunity of electrical and electronic equipment within the frequency range of 0-150kHz, with the purpose of verifying the immunity of electronic and electrical equipment to currents such as those from power lines and the performance of conducted common mode disturbances such as loop leakage current in the grounding system.
The test does not apply to ports where the connecting cable is less than 20 meters.
This standard also applies to modules and subsystems if the rated power of the EUT is greater than the capacity of the test generator.
Methods of injecting interference:
-Direct injection method [only applicable to coaxial shielded cables]
-Coupling and Decoupling Network (CDN) injection method

2. Test level in the frequency range of 15Hz - 150kHz:
The relationship between test voltage and frequency is as follows:
• 15Hz ~ 150Hz, the voltage is reduced by 20dB/decade
• 150Hz ~ 1.5kHz, voltage constant
• 1.5kHz ~ 15kHz, voltage increases by 20dB/decade
• 15kHz ~ 150kHz, voltage constant
