LD 200N - Small High Energy Load Dump Generator
The load dump pulse simulates a sudden disconnection of the connection between the battery and the generator (eg caused by corrosion). The alternator suffered an overvoltage surge due to disconnection from the battery load. Such load-dump pulses are high-energy pulses that are highly destructive. The LD 200N simulates this high-energy pulse, which lasts several hundred milliseconds.
The load dump pulse generated by LD 200N meets the standards of ISO 7637, ISO 16750-2, SAE J1113, SAE J1455, JASO and many automobile manufacturers, such as Ford, Chrysler, Renault, PSA, NISSAN and so on. Through the built-in limiter circuit, LD 200N can also generate limiter load-dump pulses in line with international standards and car manufacturers' standards.

LD 200N contains all the elements to complete the full compatibility test. It is capable of generating the required high energy pulses according to ISO 7637 and many other international and automotive manufacturers' standards, and discharging them into the forming network via the energy storage capacitors. The waveform attenuation complies with the double exponential function requirement of ISO 7637-2:2004 Annex E specification.
The LD 200N is a stand-alone device including a 60 V / 30 A DC coupling/decoupling network, but at the same time can be easily and quickly integrated into a complete test system.
Pre-programmed standard test routines provide maximum user convenience. Users can easily set the required time parameters and peak voltage through the free programming mode to generate custom load dump pulses.
Through the built-in limiting load dump module, LD 200N can generate limiting load dump pulses according to the preset time parameters and limiting voltage.

The control cursor is used to quickly control all test parameters of the programmed test program, which makes the test process very simple and ensures that each test step can be carried out correctly.

Its powerful reporting function can help users generate test reports that meet international requirements.
iec.control supports Windows 7, Windows 8 (64Bit) and Windows 10 operating systems. Remote control is done via USB or GPIB interface. iec.control is compatible with various GPIB cards of National Instruments.
