DPA 503N - Fully Compatible Three-Phase Harmonic and Flicker Analyzer
Harmonics and interharmonics are caused by modern electronic power conditioning modules, these non-linear modules used to control loads and reduce power consumption are the source of harmonic voltages in power supply systems. Variations in load current cause voltage fluctuations, resulting in changes in the brightness and spectrum of the lighting system. Flicker refers to the visual discomfort caused by this light stimulus, and flicker needs to be limited to a minimum.
The DPA 503N Harmonic and Flicker Analyzer is suitable for three-phase EUT and also supports single-phase testing.

advantage:
The DPA 503N is a fully certified harmonic and flicker analyzer that meets the latest version of IEC/EN61000-3-2, IEC/EN61000-3-3 and JIS C 61000-3-2 standards. Complies with both IEC/EN 61000-3-11 and IEC/EN 61000-3-12:2011 standards. DPA 503N has 6 independent input channels, of which 3 channels are used for voltage input and the other 3 channels are used for current input. It is designed and manufactured in full compliance with the design requirements of the IEC/EN 61000-4-7:2009 (applicable to Class A equipment) standard for harmonic analyzers and the design requirements of the IEC/EN 61000-4-15:2010 standard for scintillation meters. .
Based on real-time kernel technology and equipped with a built-in hard disk, DPA 503N can continuously record all measurement data. Via a digital PPL (Phase Locked Loop), the rectangular measurement window can be synchronized to every set of 10 or 12 cycles of the supply frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz). Wide-range input current (maximum 140 A) avoids data loss caused by range switching.
Before, during or after the measurement, the measurement level can be selected at any time, and the AC voltage and current can be measured in real time.
controlling software:
dpa.control - Harmonics and flicker control and analysis software
dpa.control is a software tool for remote control of harmonic and flicker analysis systems. It can control all functions of the DPA 503N, upload measurement data records and carry out classification and analysis of the equipment under test.
dpa.control can not only perform data analysis according to the requirements of the latest version of the standard, but also perform data analysis according to the requirements of the old version of the standard. Its failure/pass judgment function can facilitate users to quickly judge the tested equipment; more detailed data can be used for further analysis and evaluation of the tested equipment.
dpa.control also has powerful text processing functions and can output directly to Word documents.
Accessory equipment:
ACS 503Nx Series - Three Phase AC Voltage Sources up to 90 kVA
The ACS 503Nx three-phase AC voltage source is capable of operating in accordance with IEC/EN 61000-3-2, IEC/EN 61000-3-3, JIS C 61000-3-2, IEC/EN 61000-3-11 and IEC/EN 61000-3 -12:2011 standard to provide pure AC supply voltage for harmonic and flicker analysis tests. It has a power rating of 90 kVA, an output voltage of up to 3 x 530 V, and a nominal current of up to 75 A (peak current up to 550 A per phase).
The ACS 503Nx AC voltage source can be controlled by dpa.control software.
AIF 503Nx Series - Flicker Impedance according to IEC / EN 61000-3-3 / -3-11
The AIF 503Nx series flicker impedance according to IEC / EN 61000-3-11 is suitable for flicker measurement of three-phase equipment under test up to a maximum current of 75 A. Two different impedance values can be set: reference impedance (0.24 ohm + j 0.15 ohm; 0.16 ohm + j 0.10 ohm) and test impedance (0.15 ohm + j 0.15 ohm; 0.10 ohm + j 0.10 ohm). For testing up to 16 A, the AIF 503N16 with phase impedance only can be used.
The AIF 503Nx Series flicker impedance is remotely controlled by the DPA 503N Harmonic and Flicker Analyzer.
