DPA 500N - Fully Compatible Single Phase Harmonic and Flicker Analyzer
Harmonics and interharmonics are caused by modern electronic power conditioning modules, these non-linear modules used to control loads and reduce power consumption are the source of harmonic voltages in power supply systems. Variations in load current cause voltage fluctuations, resulting in changes in the brightness and spectrum of the lighting system. Flicker refers to the visual discomfort caused by this light stimulus, and flicker needs to be limited to a minimum.
The DPA 500N Harmonic and Flicker Analyzer is suitable for single-phase equipment under test.

advantage:
DPA 500N is a fully certified harmonic and flicker analyzer that complies with the latest editions of IEC / EN 61000-3-2, IEC / EN 61000-3-3 and JIS C 61000-3-2. At the same time, it meets the requirements of IEC / EN 61000-4-7 Ed. 2.1:2009 (Class I instrument) and IEC / EN 61000-4-15:2010.
Based on real-time kernel technology and equipped with a built-in hard disk, DPA 500N can continuously record all measurement data without gaps or overlaps. Via a digital PPL (Phase Locked Loop), a rectangular measurement window can be synchronized with each group (comprising 10 or 12 cycles) of the supply frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz). Wide-range input current (up to 50 A) avoids data loss caused by range switching.
The classification of the device under test can be selected at any time before or after the measurement. During the test, the output voltage and current value of the AC pure power supply can also be measured in real time. When making flicker measurements, the DPA 500N will automatically select the built-in flicker impedance, a feature that makes it a complete all-in-one harmonic flicker analyzer. With an external current clamp (option), the current range can be extended to 140 A rms or higher.
controlling software:
dpa.control - Harmonics and flicker control and analysis software
dpa.control is a software tool for remote control of harmonic and flicker analysis systems. It can control all functions of the DPA 500N, upload measurement data records and carry out classification and analysis of the equipment under test.
dpa.control can not only perform data analysis according to the requirements of the latest version of the standard, but also perform data analysis according to the requirements of the old version of the standard. Its failure/pass judgment function can facilitate users to quickly judge the equipment under test; more detailed data can be used for further analysis and evaluation of the equipment under test.
dpa.control also has powerful text processing functions and can output directly to Word documents.
Other models:
DPA 500 Harmonic and Flicker Analysis Series
EM TEST offers two different Harmonic and Flicker Analyzers to meet single phase (DPA 500N) and three phase (DPA 503N) application needs. The three-phase harmonic and flicker analyzer DPA 503N is also suitable for testing single-phase equipment under test.
Accessory equipment:
ACS 500N6 - 6 kVA Single Phase AC Voltage Source
The ACS 500N6 single-phase AC voltage source is used to generate the pure AC supply voltage required for harmonic flicker analysis, fully meeting the standards of IEC/EN 61000-3-2, IEC/EN 61000-3-3 and JIS C 61000-3-2 requirements. Its rated power is 6 kVA and its output voltage can reach 300 V. The ACS 500N6 AC voltage source can be remotely controlled via the dpa.control software.
ACS 500N3 - 3 kVA Single Phase AC Voltage Source
The ACS 500N3 single-phase AC voltage source is used to generate the pure AC supply voltage required for harmonic flicker analysis, fully meeting the standards of IEC/EN 61000-3-2, IEC/EN 61000-3-3 and JIS C 61000-3-2 requirements. Its rated power is 3 kVA and its output voltage can reach 300 V. The ACS 500N3 AC voltage source can be remotely controlled via the dpa.control software.
