DOAL01 (Digital Optical Audio Link) is a high-quality audio digital optical fiber connector, usually used in those occasions that need to obtain audio from a poor RF environment, such as extracting audio data from radiation sensitivity testing in a dark room, The system is bi-directional, half-duplex and uses fiber optics for the connection.
One end of the system is connected to the audio generation or extraction equipment (speaker/microphone) exposed to the RF environment, and the other end is connected to an audio analyzer or audio generator. The system consists of the following components:
DOAL01T-B, the transmitting module, is placed in an environment exposed to RF (such as an anechoic chamber or GTEM chamber), powered by batteries, and shielded, which can take into account both transmission and reception. The battery uses a 12V charger, and the input and output only Using one connector, there is an on/off switch on the front panel, with a pair of LED indicators to indicate power on/off and battery status.
