SOPM03 is applied to the EMC test platform and is the first virtual device for assembling optical fiber links developed by TESEO. It takes advantage of the cheap computing power of computers, avoiding the use of microprocessors and dedicated firmware. To operate, it must be connected to a computer, on the other hand, its price is very competitive. In addition, the EMC test platform is centered on the computer automation system. Under special circumstances, the computer is not available, and a portable computer can continue the test. The use of fiber optic cables allows the power meter to be used in harsh electromagnetic environments, such as in dark rooms. The SOPM03 is the only power meter that can be used close to the antenna in a radiated immunity test setup. Connecting to a computer's RS232 port is simple, inexpensive, and technically daisy-chained for up to eight test devices.
SOPM01S
SOPM03S is a small shielded box, battery powered, withstanding high electromagnetic fields. Connect to 3 test points via coaxial cable. It converts the test analog data into digital data and transmits it to the computer through the optical cable. It can be used continuously for 10 hours before charging, and the battery status can be seen through the computer. An on/off switch is installed. It can shield the electromagnetic field of 200V/m. It is necessary to pay attention to the connection of the coaxial cable, because any electromagnetic noise will affect the measurement of the power meter.
SOPM01W
Using the floppy disk to install the software, engineers and testers can see the readings of the three channels and the battery status on the computer.
The data of each channel is read out at 10 per second, and the test unit (dBm or mv) is optional. The application software is developed for the Windows™ environment and requires no special training. It also provides customers with self-programmed software, interface commands and reading formats.
SELF
The SOI is a self-powered sensor that plugs into the RS232 port of the 25D model of the computer. Adapters are available with 9-pin D-type connectors. A single SOI can control up to 8 satellite units of different types (daisy chain configuration). Each instrument is identified by its position in the chain. The sensor operates in half-duplex mode in both directions.

application
The SOPM system is used to test radio frequency continuous wave signals, especially in high electromagnetic fields.
Typical applications:
Radiated immunity test monitoring forward and reverse power according to IEC1000-4-3
Conducted immunity test for voltage monitoring and calibration according to IEC1000-4-6
Monitor current injection during high current testing. In the latter case, all three channels are used at once, measuring direct as well as reverse power plus injected current.
