The application of surge pulses and ringing wave pulses to unshielded asymmetric interconnects (signal lines/data lines) requires independent coupling/decoupling networks. EM TEST's CNV series 4- or 8-wire signal/data line coupling networks are designed for this application. According to EN/IEC 61000-4-5 and EN/IEC 61000-4-12, pulses can be coupled by capacitors, air discharge tubes or diodes depending on the characteristics of the in-line signal.
