The electrostatic discharge measuring device is used to measure the electric field and magnetic field of the electrostatic discharge generator. In addition to test pulses, ESD generators also generate electric and magnetic field disturbances. Therefore, for test pulses, these disturbance fields affect the device under test. Setting up an electrostatic discharge measurement field in the workplace allows measurement of an additional electrostatic discharge generator field while changing the location of the electrostatic discharge generator to an on-site measurement system. Knowing the intensity and local distribution of the electromagnetic interference field of the electrostatic discharge generator is an important means to suppress interference.
