FA7000 series field strength meters are specially designed for measuring modulated electric fields. Each kit includes an isotropic field sensor, glass fiber optic cable, a miniature tripod, carrying case, and a processor unit. The processor unit stores all necessary linearity corrections for its associated field sensors. The field sensor is laser powered, allowing continuous operation without recharging or battery replacement. An orthogonal corner mount and adapter feet are provided for mounting in common orientations. Correction factors for multiple frequencies are provided in each kit box. These factors can be loaded into the processor unit to automatically correct field readings for user specified frequencies. When correction factors are used, the true accuracy of the device can be achieved. The glass fiber optic cables between the field sensors and the processing unit can be as long as 100 meters.
