Frankonia's fiber optic field strength meters are mainly suitable for field strength/field strength uniformity measurements according to IEC/EN 61000-4-3. In addition, it is a good solution to measure the radiation pollution of the environment, such as workplaces or apartments. EFS-LASER is an isotropic miniature electric field sensor, the electronic field will not be affected by the size of the sensor itself. It doesn't even need any measuring device (could also affect the field strength) due to its direct fiber optic output which allows the sensor to be connected directly to the usb port of the controlling PC or laptop. Measured values can be displayed via the separate IEC 61000-4-3 control software or via the windows software included in the delivery. EFS-LASE covers frequency range from 10kHz – 6GHz. Utilizing linearization techniques provides a dynamic range up to 100dB. EFS-LASER is an intelligent, fast and extremely accurate laser electric field probe that provides linearization, temperature with compensation, control and communication functions. Noise reduction and temperature compensation allow accurate measurements down to 0.1 V/m. The sensor is laser powered for continuous, isolated operation without recharging or replacing the battery powered unit housed in a small box.
