Selection of EMC test standards

To comply with EMC requirements, selecting the correct EMC standard is a crucial first step. The table below lists the main European and international product family standards. If your product is not specifically listed, the general standard should probably apply. According to the environment in which the product is used, it is divided into residential and commercial general standards and industrial general standards.
Australian Standards and European Standards are very similar, but have different standard numbers. The US FCC standard uses similar testing techniques and similar limits to EN55022. Chinese standards generally refer to international standards and adopt different numbering methods.
